Vikki Hayes

Hello there, my name is Vikki and I have been teaching English as a foreign language for over 14 years now. I have worked at different universities around Spain and I also have a masters degree in teaching English. I have worked for a variety of different companies where I help my students to either maintain and/ or improve their level of English in order to work comfortably and confidently in an English speaking work environment. I work with individuals one-to-one or with small groups and all of my classes are tailored to the needs and goals of that particular individual or group. I have a law degree from University College Cork where I studied subjects such as contract law, commercial law, European Union law, criminal law and so on. During the course of my career as an English teacher, I have worked in several different countries such as Egypt, China, Mexico, Italy and of course Spain. During this time, I have worked with students from all over the world, giving me an extensive knowledge of language use and culture. I believe that speaking a foreign language is both enriching and empowering and I love to see my students making progress in their professional lives. I have also written a variety of different books including several for language learning. In my free time, I enjoy reading, running, hiking and practicing yoga. I also enjoy painting and meditating. In the evenings, I can be found walking on the beach or spending time with my loved ones.
