Having been working with ESOL for over 8 years since I graduated, I have recently finished my CELTA and I am looking for more private teaching opportunities.

I taught English in face-to-face classes in two schools in Brazil for over three years and was a Young Learners' Assistant at the British Council Portugal for almost five years. I am currently an English Teacher at Academia Británica (International House Córdoba) where I teach mostly KET, PET and FCE preparation classes.

As a teacher at Academia Británica (IH Córdoba), I have been teaching mostly young learners and teens, but I also teach some adults. Besides teaching exam-level preparation classes, I teach general English classes and conversation classes.

As a Young Learners’ Assistant at British Council Portugal, I successfully ran three summer schools with my former Senior Teacher Young Learners where I became familiar working with the IWB, Active Inspire, and Flow Works – very powerful tools to make lessons much more interactive. I also assisted primary-level students in both physical and virtual classrooms during the academic year, learning several teaching techniques using flashcards and Kahoot. I ran four reading challenges and was encharged with the graded reads at the library, encouraging students to read from primary to proficiency level.

Moreover, I assisted B1 First, C1 Advanced, and C2 Proficiency candidates at the British Council, which makes me very familiar with these exams.

Finally, I have been part of the Venue Staff for all Cambridge Assessment English examinations and the IELTS for almost four years. This means I really know how the exam day goes and exactly what candidates will go through on that day.
