¿Hay alguna técnica para saber si es un "false friend" en la lengua inglesa?

Hola Eva. En mi opinión, no hay ningún truco más allá que aprender el máximo de palabras posibles y utilizar la memoria con el vocabulario de los mismos. The best idea is to make a note of the word before you forget, then look it up in an online dictionary as soon as you can. A lot of online dictionaries give example sentences. Creo que cada vez que estudiamos o queremos aprender, en este caso un idioma nuevo debemos procurar olvidarnos de las similitudes que probablemente podamos encontrar en el idioma estudiado, pensar que todo es nuevo, distinto. No digo que sea fácil pero si intentar tomarlo en cuenta. cordiales saludos.
