Andres Joseph Ramirez Baskovich

I am submitting to you my curriculum vitae as I'm interested in working as an English teacher in your school. Please note as you review it that having lived fifteen years in Spanish speaking countries I am a native speaker of both English and Spanish. I was born in Spain and after spending my early childhood years living there I moved to Puerto Rico where I lived unitl I began my high school education in the United States. I have been living in the United States since then.

After completing my high school eduction in the Midwestern region of the USA i began attending university in the city of New York within a very rich multicultural environment where I became initensely involved living and working among the large Spanish speaking community from Latin America adn the Caribbean which resides and works there.

Being fully bilingual I served for ten years as an interpreter and personal assistant for a renown South American artist translating fro Spanish to English in consecutive form at public events such as gallery openings and art exhibitions as well as serving as a conversation interpreter. During the years that I served in this capacity I acquired important knowledge regarding the use of both languages valuable in a teaching position and gained extensive experience in interpersonal relations across cultures. I also have experience teaching English as a second language at all levels privately among the Latin community in the United States and Spain.

Having been deeply involved with the Latin community during my life in the United States, I retain a deep interest in Spanish and Latin culture. I am presently living in La Manga where I have a home and I would like now to have the opportunity to do the same in this region. Teaching English in your school would also offer me the opportunity to continue improving the language and communication skills which I have developed before as an interpreter and private teacher of English.
