Having taught English for more than 35 years, my experience is wide and varied.
I have been tutoring on-line for a number of years and
my students hail from Russia, the Ukraine, Spain, Italy, Kazakhstan and China.
I have extensive experience with young and older students alike, whether learning English for
pleasure, work, school or other reasons.

My areas of teaching include Cambridge exam preparation: Young Learners Suite, B1 PET, B2 First, CAE, CPE and IELTS. As a qualified and trained Secondary teacher in the UK, I also tutor Literature in English and First Language English and English as a Second Language IGCSE preparation. As well as these exams I have prepared students to pass private International school entrance exams in Spain, the UK and Russia.
I enjoy working with all ages and use online video conferencing platforms to provide my classes.
I offer course book based classes, on-line electronically supported classes or a mixture of both. My main focus is to get the student speaking the language with confidence, step- by- step.
I encourage homework and regular classes involving memorizing key vocabulary, lots of repetition and revision, conversation, listening, writing and reading. I use a multi - skills approach which is tailored to your needs, personality,learning style and work / school demands.
