Diana Sánchez

As a native Spanish speaker with a B1 English level, I am an enthusiastic language teacher and committed to sharing my knowledge with students in an engaging, clear, and individualized way. Lessons are personalized based on students' interests and goals and preferred ways of learning. Upon request, lessons included music, movies, TV series, games, or real-life situations to inspire learning and create lessons that are authentic and fun!

My aim is to cultivate a welcoming and positive classroom community where students feel comfortable speaking, making mistakes, and learning. I understand that language learning is more effective if students enjoy the process and get to think, so I focus on communicative activities to develop students’ communicative competencies in the target language rather than succinct checklists of grammar.

My lessons involve both guided lessons with specific activities and students participating in a variety of activities that allow the students to develop vocabulary, pronunciation, and fluency, while continually building students' motivation. I am flexible with the teaching methods I use, and I welcome feedback, so each lesson is fun and relevant.
