Hugo De Andreotti

I am a university-qualified English Language and Literature teacher, Cambridge CELTA-certified, with 20 years of experience teaching adults, professionals, university students, trainee teachers, teenagers and children, both online and in person.

I currently teach learners from different countries who need English for their careers, university studies, job interviews, international travel, presentations and official examinations. I offer preparation for Cambridge, IELTS, Trinity and Pearson exams, together with Business English, General English, conversation, grammar, writing, pronunciation, phonetics, phonology and English diction.

Every lesson is designed around the student’s current level, professional or academic background, learning style and specific objectives. My methodology is communicative, practical and student-centred. We work with realistic situations and carefully selected materials to develop confidence, accuracy, fluency and effective communication. I provide clear explanations and, when useful, can also use Spanish to clarify complex language points.

I also support students completing English teaching degrees with subjects such as English Grammar, Phonetics and Phonology, Linguistics, Pronunciation, Diction and Academic Writing.

During our first session, we will assess your current level, discuss your needs and define clear, achievable goals. I will then create a personalised learning plan based on your priorities. Lessons may focus on a specific short-term objective or form part of a continuous professional or academic development programme.

You will receive constructive feedback, practical guidance and materials adapted to your progress.

Whether you need English to advance your career, pass an international examination, study abroad or communicate more confidently, we can create an effective programme specifically designed for you.
