Hi and thank you for your interest in improving your english with me :)

I have 5 years of teaching experience total: 3 in US university settings for social justice and media literacy classes, and 2 in english as a foreign language for spanish speakers of all ages and abilities between 6-20 years old in Madrid schools and online. I am a native english (and arabic) speaker, am TEFL certified, enthusiastic, patient, and can't wait to meet you!

We will enjoy guided conversations around your interests to encourage practical skills for you to learn english in the contexts you care about. I bring media, art, news, games, and many interactive learning activities to our lessons to support an immersive learning experience. Importantly, I recognize that learning a new language is a vulnerable adventure and deeply appreciate my students' trust in me and am always immensely proud of their efforts. I hope to create a comforting environment to build your confidence so that taking your skills beyond the classroom is smooth and supported. See you soon!
