Jessica Evans

I am a native English speaker from the UK. I teach private classes to both adults and young learners. I am able to offer exam preparation classes for the Cambridge First Certificate exam (FCE) as well as Cambridge Advanced (CAE). As well as this I offer general English classes to both adults and children of all levels of ability.

I am CELTA qualified (pass A), Distinction certified in 'Cambridge Teaching English to Young Learners and Teenagers' qualification. As well as this, I studied education and teaching at the University of Bristol, obtaining a PGCE qualification in 2014.

I have 7 years of teaching experience and believe both this and the quality of my training have allowed me to develop a teaching philosophy which is a student-centred approach, whereby I facilitate and guide students through their learning, adapting to their individual needs and wishes and plan classes with each individual student in mind. I believe to learn, students must be engaged, enjoying the process and inspired and I work hard to plan classes which ensure that that is the case.

I offer the first class free of charge.
