I took private Portuguese classes with Karolina several years ago in New York City. I was very pleased with my classes. I was at an immediate level in terms of my knowledge of Portuguese. I found Karolina to be prepared, very organized and sensitive to my objectives for studying Portuguese. In class we would cover a combination of grammar, conversation and pronunciation. I was very comfortable with her methodology and happy with my progress from studying with my her.

Karolina is an outstanding Portguese teacher. She is patient and engaging with students. She was always willing help and open to suggestions.

Karolina worked patiently with me for several years to teach me Portuguese. She is an excellent instructor. I had no Portuguese when we started and, while I never became fluent, I was able to understand and speak a bit. When I left my posit in Brazil, I was able to make my farewell speech to my Brazilian colleagues in Portuguese. Karolina is calm, encouraging and persistent. She is a lovely person and a pleasure to be with. I enjoyed her teaching and learned much from her. I give her my highest recommendation.

I took Portuguese classes with Karolina and she was amazing! Her classes are well structured, prepared and highly engaging. She is very patient and adjusts the classes to your level and interests which makes the classes fun. On a more personal level, she is also very nice, warm and easy to talk to. I highly recommend her!

Karolina was a wonderful professor. She taught us in a way where she only spoke Portuguese in class and I studied with her for 4 years. I started with her in a group class, and then continued in a semi-private (2 students) setting for 3 years. It was the first time I studied a language that way, mostly speaking and listening (vs. reading and writing as the focus) and this helped me be able to speak and understand much better. I would say I am conversational in Portuguese and able to move around comfortably in Brazil. I would highly recommend Karolina as a professor, and would have stayed her student had I not moved overseas.

Karolina is very patient and knows exactly how to fine-tune her teaching to get the best out of her students. It has been a wonderful experience learning Portuguese with her and I highly recommend her to anyone who wishes to learn the language.

Karolina was an amazing Portuguese teacher. She made the classes fun, held me accountable for my improvement, challenged me, and by the end I was speaking good Portuguese. I highly recommend her as a teacher and wish I was still taking lessons with her.
