My teaching method is simple yet effective.
I work collaboratively with my students to develop a plan of action that focuses on the areas they need the most help on - often vocabulary acquisition, grammar, speaking skills, and others.
I then work with students to both explain concepts in a shame-free space and offer them study tools that they can take beyond our sessions. For example, I use flashcards and pneumonic devices to ensure comprehension of the material.
I always encourage my students to ask questions and I strive to create a friendly environment in which they feel comfortable doing so.
