Currently, I work with 5th graders. I follow base my curriculum on the students ability to already speak English. Most of my lessons include working on verb conjugations, reading, and writing. This would include reading a small book with key vocabulary terms, descriptive details, and activities that relate to the book's plot. Depending on the student's ability to speak, I will increase or decrease difficulty of reading and writing exercises. It is important that we speak only in English as this will help the student.


Actualmente, trabajo con alumnos de 5to grado. En este momento, sigo una guía de bajo a medio basada en la capacidad de los estudiantes de hablar inglés. La mayoría de mis lecciones incluyen trabajar en conjugaciones verbales, lectura y escritura. Esto incluiría leer un pequeño libro con términos clave de vocabulario, detalles descriptivos y actividades relacionadas con la trama del libro. Dependiendo de la capacidad del estudiante para hablar, aumentaré o disminuiré la dificultad de los ejercicios de lectura y escritura. Es importante que hablemos solo en inglés ya que esto ayudará al estudiante.
