As a Fine Art and Theatre honors graduate from Lancaster University (UK) and the holder of a Master’s degree in Contemporary Art History and Visual Culture from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and the Museo Reina Sofía, I am confident in my ability to inspire your students and effectively prepare them for their exams.
Academic Rigor and Exam Preparation: Having been awarded the Lancaster Achievement Award for academic excellence and graduating with Highest Honors (Matrícula de Honor) for my Master’s thesis on communication theories, I possess a deep, structured understanding of art history timelines, methodologies, and critical analysis. I am fully equipped to help students build strong study habits and excel in their academic evaluations.
Pedagogical and Mediation Experience: I have direct experience in educational roles as a cultural mediator and educator at institutions such as New Art Exchange (Nottingham) and La Casa Encendida (Madrid). In these roles, I independently planned and led educational workshops and guided visits for schools and diverse age groups. This has honed my interpersonal communication skills and my ability to adapt my teaching style to the unique pace and interests of each learner.
Global Perspective and Communication: My time working within major cultural institutions, such as the Centro Cultural de España in Santiago (AECID) and Studio Voltaire in London , has provided me with a cross-cultural and multidisciplinary view of visual arts. Furthermore, my bilingual proficiency in English allows me to offer high-quality lessons in both Spanish and English.
My goal as a tutor is not only to help students memorize dates and names, but to foster critical thinking and a genuine lifelong passion for understanding the social and historical contexts behind art.
