En las lenguas que conozco se usa diferente palabra para oír y escuchar. La diferencia está en la intención. No podemos evitar oír, pero debemos de poner voluntad para escuchar. En el programa “No es un día cualquiera” a los seguidores se les llama escuchantes porque estamos interesados en las historias que nos cuentan.
Ahora yo me encuentro muchas veces que las personas ni me escuchan ni me oyen, piensan en lo que van a decir a continuación. Tenemos tanta prisa que no podemos escuchar, solo responder. Y con algunos alumnos me pasa lo mismo, me preguntan cosas que acabo de decir que voy a explicar a continuación. Sin esperar el proceso de aprendizaje. Igual que existe el movimiento slow food, yo me apunto al movimiento: conversación pausada.
In the languages I know, there is a different word for to hear and to listen. The difference is in the intention. We can't avoid hearing, but we have to voluntarily listen.
