I was born into a German Spanish family which is why I have two native languages. I grew up in Hamburg and after that I moved to Berlin, where I studied Pedagogy, science of education. I moved to Spain in 1995 and I specialised in language teaching since then. I teach German, Spanish and English. I am a proficient user in English and in French. In English I have Mastery (Level C2) and in French effective operational proficiency (Level C1).
My hobbies are languages and cultures, especially the languages I speak and the cultures, where these languges are widely used. I've tought for more than 20 years in language academies in Spain, corporate and private tuition, both in person and online.
I love tutoring my language students. In my lessons I work with roleplays, which is just what most students need, because it helps them to get fluency in everyday life, for example shopping in a grocery store, buying a ticket to a travel agent, ordering in a restaurant, making new friends on a party, job interviews etc. The roles in these situations contain a lot of standard language structures, which are highly important in order to be efficient and to become an independent language user, which is level B1 and B2.
My methodology is direct, which means that in class I use the language that you are learning. We will do roleplays and I will give you also explications on grammar and vocabulary.
