Hoy he visto una aplicación de Google para subrayar textos, buscando solucionar el problema de no entender los problemas matemáticos .
Yo voy mas allá: a la hora de resolver cualquier problema de cualquier asignatura, lo mas difícil es seleccionar los datos, identificarlos y saber que nos preguntan. Los estudiantes saben la mecánica de la resolución pero no saben identificar el texto.
A veces porque le profesor se expresa mal. A veces porque se empeñan en que todos los datos sirven y hay que usarlos. A veces porque no tienen costumbre de analizar. Y es mucho mas importante poder analizar los datos y el objetivo que saber resolver. Recordemos que los problemas nos preparan para la vida real. Jamás en mi trabajo en la industria me he encontrado con un problema enunciado, siempre ha sido un montón de datos y una necesidad que resolver
¿Qué hacer?
Primero: leer bien todo el problema dos veces, la segunda debes de subrayar o tomar notas. Debes de distinguir bien cada dato, para ello lee tramo a tramo e identifica todo lo que puedas.
Luego intenta explicar a un tercero, aunque sea a tu amigo invisible, de que va el ejercicio. Cuando tratas de explicar algo pones en orden tus ideas. Seguramente con esto ya te has situado y puedes empezar a resolver el problema.
Si aun andas perdido, usa la psicología, ¿qué puede ser que te hayan preguntado? ¿cuáles suelen ser las preguntas? ¿qué necesidades hay en esa situación? ¿hay verbos en el enunciado?
Y no te preocupes si no te sale a la primera, porque a veces tomas un camino sin salida, pero puedes volver a intentarlo. Y no si te bloqueas, apárcalo. Inténtalo mas tarde, el subconsciente sigue trabajando para ti.
