Present Continuous

Uses:
- We use the Present Continuous to talk about actions occurring at the time of speaking. For example: I am drinking a cup of wine.
- We use the Present Continuous to talk about temporary events in the present. For example: I am staying with a friend until I find a place to live.
- We use the present continuous to talk about plans or arrangements in the near future. For example: Tomorrow, I am visiting the doctor.
Affirmative form
When we form an affirmative sentence in the Present Continuous form, we follow the pattern:
subject + verb to be + verb + ing + complement
I am playing the guitar.
She is cooking dinner.
We are eating salad.
Negative form
When we form a negative sentence in the Present Continuous, we just add ''not'' to the verb to be.
subject + verb to be + not + verb + ing + complement
I am not playing the guitar.
She is not cooking dinner.
We are not eating salad.
Questions and short answers
There are two types of questions in English: OPEN QUESTION AND CLOSE QUESTION.
Open questions are form by a WH word, for example: WHAT, WHERE, WHEN, WHO. WHICH, HOW etc…

What is she drinking? She is drinking soda.
Where are they going? They are going to the cinema.
Close questions are form by the verb to be or auxiliary word and the subject, for example: IS SHE...? ARE YOU...? IS HE...? ARE THEY...?

Is he writing a letter? No, she is not.
Am I thinking to much? Yes, you are.
Answers can be just YES or NO
